Ocala Chick-fil-A temporarily suspends breakfast hours due to staffing shortage

Ocala Chick-fil-A is suspending its breakfast hours in the wake of a staffing shortage.

According to a social media post from the franchise’s ownership, the team suspended its breakfast operations on Monday, May 17, after suffering from “staffing challenges.”

“It is with a heavy heart that beginning Monday, May 17, Chick-fil-A Ocala will be opened from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and only serving lunch and dinner,” reads the post. It goes on to say that the owners of the franchise have “never seen such unprecedented times” in their 17 years in the restaurant industry.

“It is our hope and prayer that situation turns around soon,” says the post.

The popular restaurant, which maintained a steady flow of traffic throughout the pandemic, adapted its drive-thru to accommodate higher demand over the past year.

The post goes on to solicit employment, and the company has since posted employment solicitation for positions in the kitchen and unloading the truck.
