Ignite for Ocala accepting applications to provide local nonprofits up to $50,000

The Ignite Leadership Team is now accepting applications from nonprofits for a chance to win a $50,000 award.

Through the Safe & Loving Community Award, the organization will select one nonprofit organization from the applicant pool to receive funding. The deadline for agencies to apply is June 30.

Although the amount is unknown, the local nonprofit agency that is selected may receive up to $50,000. A check for the amount will be presented to the nonprofit no later than May 31, 2022.

​To be eligible for this Safe & Loving Community Award, organizations must have a 501(c)3 tax status, have an average annual revenue of $550,000 or less, have a mission that is in alignment with Ignite, and serve people in the local community.

Ignite is a group of professionals who volunteer their time to create a safe and loving community here in Ocala, Marion County. They help support local nonprofit organizations by raising funds for causes and providing a platform to showcase specific causes or projects.
