The Junior League of Ocala (JLO) will host a meet and greet event on June 25 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The “Sip & Shop” event is a membership recruitment event for the Junior League of Ocala, which is an educational women’s volunteer organization aimed at improving communities through the social, cultural, and political fabric of civil society.
The application period is now open for interested women. When new members apply, they are invited to join a year-long class that provides them with the tools and information they’ll need to play a role in the Junior League of Ocala’s current goal of lifting homeless women and their dependent children out of poverty.
The event will be located at Marley Mae, which is located at 16 South Magnolia Avenue Ocala, FL 34471.
The Junior League of Ocala Eligibility Requirements Include:
Applicants must be 21 years old by August 1 to be eligible for membership.
Applicants must reside within Marion County or its surrounding counties.
The candidate must possess an interest in community service.
