Reading with Rangers & Friends series at Ocala parks this July

The Reading with Rangers & Friends series is hosting a series of events throughout the month of July.

Every Friday in July the group gathers at different parks around the city of Ocala at 11 a.m.

In addition to Ocala Park Rangers, a multitude of staff including Marion County Library System employees, firefighters, police officers, and city of Ocala employees will read books at different parks.

Visitors are encouraged to pack a snack, blanket or chair.

On July 9, the group will meet at Heritage Nature Conservancy, which is located at 2005 NE 3rd Street. Additional installments will include July 16 at the MLK Jr. Recreation Complex (1510 NW 4th Street), July 23 at Fort King (3925 E Fort King Street), and July 30 at Tuscawilla Park (829 NE Sanchez Avenue).

The events are free to attend and open to the public.
