Marion County officials hosting COVID-19 question, answer session

Marion County officials will host a COVID-19 question and answer session for the public this week.

Marion County will live-stream a question and answer session about COVID-19 vaccines on Wednesday, September 1 at 10 a.m.

The online session will feature Florida Medical Association President Dr. Douglas Murphy, Jr., Todd R. Panzer, APNR-C, FNP-C, and Marion County Commissioner Kathy Bryant. 

According to the county, questions may be submitted through the Marion County, Florida Facebook page.

“Only comments in the form of a question and relevant to COVID-19 vaccines will be considered,” reads a social media post from the county. 

Commissioner Bryant has been a vocal proponent of the vaccine in recent weeks since she and her husband were forced to quarantine earlier after testing positive.
