City hosting final meeting for public input on new mural at E.D. Croskey Rec Center

The Ocala Cultural Arts and Sciences Division is hosting its final meeting seeking public input on a new mural planned for the E.D. Croskey Recreation Center.

The division will host the final meeting on Saturday, September 18 at 10 a.m.

The meeting is being held in collaboration with the Racial Harmony and Cultural Awareness task force and the Martin Luther King Jr. Commemorative Commission to collect information on the new mural.

According to the city, the new mural will be located on the “west and south-facing walls” of the E.D. Croskey Recreation Center, which is located at 1510 NW 4th Street.

For those unable to join, the city has provided an online mural form.

Visit the City of Ocala Cultural Arts and Sciences new mural form to submit your input.

All meetings are free to attend and open to the public. Capacity will be limited to allow for social distancing and for attendees to have a chance to visit each station.
