Las Micheladas, a restaurant specializing in authentic Mexican cuisine, celebrated the grand opening of its new northwest Ocala location recently.

The Mexican and seafood restaurant opened its doors at 12210 U.S. Hwy 27 in Ocala, halfway between the Blitchton and Fellowship communities. The location formerly housed the Backwoods Smokehouse and Grill for many years.
Las Micheladas Mexican and Seafood restaurant features a menu that is filled with an array of traditional Mexican dishes, including enchiladas, tacos, burritos, and its namesake micheladas, which are Mexican drinks made with beer, lime juice, sauces, and peppers, among other ingredients.
The menu also includes multiple seafood specialities include mojarras, shrimp, and fish tacos. In addition to food, the business offers domestic and Mexican beers, and wines.

According to its website, the restaurant is open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
