Carol Ann Wheeler, 77 of Ocala, Florida, passed away on 9/29/2021 in Ocala, Fl. Carol was born in Lakewood, Ohio to Anthony Michael Regnatz and Beatrice Victoria Hartman on December 3, 1943. She went to high school at Lakewood High and graduated in 1961. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Notre Dame College where she graduated cum laude. She worked as a Senior Claims Analyst at the Department of Veterans Affairs for 24 years. Carol is survived by her Loving sister Dianne Mays and her Nephew Tommy Mays of Lambertville, MI. She is preceded in death by her Parents Anthony Michael Regnatz and Beatrice Victoria Hartman. Carol didn’t have children of her own but after the passing of her first husband she met George Lengle Jr and became a wonderful partner. Carol referred to George as his soul mate and she became a cherished member of his family. Carol enjoyed her cats, her quiet and her extended family. Carol will be greatly missed.
Private Funeral Services will be held October 5th, 2021 at Robert Downtown Chapel. Burial will follow at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell Florida. Roberts of Ocala will be handling the funeral arrangements.
