AdventHealth Ocala is looking to give back to local children during an inaugural event that kicks off this weekend.
The hospital’s ‘Holiday Giveback Event’ is being held on Sunday, December 19 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at AdventHealth Ocala’s Auxiliary Conference Center (1542 SW 1st Avenue in Ocala).
The planned festivities for the inaugural event include face painting, balloon artists, live music, dance performances, kids craft station, hot chocolate bar, selfie wall crawl, and pictures with Santa.
The event is free, and all attendees are encouraged to donate items such as toys, jackets, socks, underwear, warm clothing, boys gym shorts and jogging pants, and personal hygiene products.
All donations will benefit organizations including the Marion County Public School’s Homeless Family Program, The Rock Program, and the AdventHealth Ocala Foundation.
