Ocala police asking for public’s help identifying arson suspects

The Ocala Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying two men who are suspected of setting a vehicle on fire at a local apartment complex.

According to an OPD Facebook posting, on Sunday, December 12, the two men pictured below are suspected of being involved in the arson of a vehicle at Hickory Knoll Apartments (605 NE 22nd Avenue in Ocala).

The suspects’ vehicle is a silver Ford Explorer with damage on the driver’s side, a missing back windshield, two magnetic lights on the roof, and a temporary paper tag at the time of the incident.

OPD acknowledges that the image quality is poor, but the officers are hopeful that the pictures will help someone recognize these men. According to OPD, the men are both white, and the driver has a larger build and was wearing black-framed glasses.
