The 8th annual Habitat Ocala Strawberry Festival is making its return to the McPherson Complex this weekend.

Habitat for Humanity of Marion County is hosting the family-friendly event on Saturday, March 5, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the complex which is located at 601 SE 25th Avenue.

The festival will provide numerous entertainment options for attendees, including a BMX Trickstars show, an all-day car show, a reading book giveaway, a kids’ zone, live music from multiple bands including The Tom Petty Experience, vendors, food and drinks, and lots of strawberries.

At 3 p.m., the event will also feature a pie eating contest that is free to enter, and awards will be up for grabs during the competition.

The event is free to attend and is open to the public.
