No serious injuries after pickup truck pulling camper overturns on I-75 in Marion County

No serious injuries were reported after a pickup truck pulling a camper overturned on I-75 in Marion County on Friday morning.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol incident report, the pickup truck was traveling northbound on I-75 shortly before 5:40 a.m.

The driver of the pickup truck, a 28-year-old Sarasota woman, lost control of the vehicle near mile marker 343. The pickup truck overturned and blocked the center and right northbound lanes.

The right lane remained blocked while the camper was recovered, and all northbound lanes of I-75 reopened at 8:15 a.m.

The driver of the pickup truck and the passenger, a 33-year-old Sarasota man, both sustained minor injuries in the accident.

The names of the driver and passenger were not released, per FHP policy.
