Summerfield man arrested after hiding camera in Circle K women’s bathroom

A 28-year-old Summerfield man was arrested after he hid a camera inside a women’s bathroom at the Circle K located at 1986 SW 27th Avenue in Ocala.

On February 24 at around 9:30 p.m., Justin Matthew Warr Wright entered the bathroom and hid the video camera inside a flowerpot. According to the Ocala Police Department, the camera was turned off at around 5 a.m. on February 25.

On Thursday, March 10, OPD turned to the public to help identify the suspect. After images of the suspect were released to the public (see below), Wright was promptly identified and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

On Saturday, March 12, shortly after 4 p.m., Wright turned himself in to the Lake County Jail where he was arrested. He was released an hour later on $30,000 bond.

Wright is facing six first-degree felony charges for video voyeurism. A court date has not been scheduled yet, according to jail records.
