The City of Ocala Recreation and Parks Department is offering free fitness classes this month for local residents.
During the month of June, the free classes will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays, from 5:45 p.m. to 6:45 p.m., at the E.D. Croskey Recreation Center (1510 NW 4th Street in Ocala).
Participants will be led through a series of workouts each session that combine cardio and strength training to help them get a jump start on their fitness journey.
While pre-registration is preferred, participants will also have the option to register on the day of their first class. The classes are open to anyone ages 16 and older.
