The City of Ocala has announced that public parking areas on the south and east sides of the downtown square will be temporarily closed due to a landscaping project.
The affected parking areas, which are located along SE Broadway Street and NE 1st Avenue, will be closed beginning on Thursday, June 9 at 6 a.m.
The project is expected to be completed by Friday, June 10, according to a social media post from the city. Once the project is finished, parking will be reopened to the public.
All other parking areas will remain open and available for residents visiting the downtown area.
