Marion County Sheriff Billy Woods seeks help locating five individuals who remain at large

With the new year right around the corner, Marion County Sheriff Billy Woods is asking for the public’s help to locate five individuals who remain at large after being featured on the “2022 Wanted by Woods Wednesday” segment on Facebook.

In this week’s “Wanted by Woods Wednesday” segment, Sheriff Woods asked for assistance in finding the following individuals who are wanted by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office:

Dionsha Farmer (22): He is wanted for three counts of attempted second degree murder, two counts of possession of a firearm or ammunition by a convicted felon, shooting into an occupied vehicle, improper exhibition of a firearm, and tampering with evidence.

Sheriff Woods stated, “Dionsha, three individuals, who you have known since you were little, came to your home to pick up a pressure washer. When they arrived, you greeted them with gunfire, firing several rounds into their vehicle. Luckily, they were able to back out quickly and get to safety.”

The sheriff added that the incident was caught on camera and the Marion County Sheriff’s Office has the video.

Steven Allen Monk (34): He is wanted for three counts of capital sexual battery on a victim under 12 years of age, lewd and lascivious exhibition on a victim under 16 years of age, and battery of a child by expelling certain bodily fluids.

Sheriff Woods stated, “This individual spent 4 years sexually abusing a child who was under 12 years old, and now we’ve got a warrant for his arrest. This vile man does not need to be walking around freely. He needs to be in my jail. He may be here in Marion County but also in the Northwest Georgia or Southeast Tennessee areas. No matter where he is, we need to get him off the streets before he abuses another child.”

Toni Marie Humphries (46): She is wanted for grand theft of a motor vehicle. In addition, she has a warrant out of Citrus County for violation of probation for the charge of possession of methamphetamine.

Sheriff Woods stated, “Toni, the victim was helping you get back on your feet and you repaid him by stealing his vehicle along with the tools he used to make his living. You took his vehicle to Sumter County and, when it became disabled, you just left it there. Instead of making the right decisions to get yourself back on your feet, you made the wrong decisions that will now land you back in jail. Do the right thing and turn yourself in.”

Tyler Eugene Davis (30): He is wanted for fraudulent use of a credit card, fraudulent use of personal identification information, and petit theft.

Sheriff Woods stated, “The victim dropped her credit card at a Dollar General store and Tyler found it and took himself on a shopping spree. He then used the victim’s card at the Dollar General on North Highway 441 and Hibbett Sports on Southwest Archer Road in Gainesville. Now, citizens, I know you don’t take too kindly to thieves, and I think we all know Tyler won’t turn himself in, so we will need your help locating him.”

Steven Alexander Johnson (26): He is wanted for dealing in stolen property.

“Steven received a stolen car from his accomplice and sold it for scrap to get himself a little bit of money ($300),” stated Sheriff Woods. “Steven, you profited by selling a vehicle that you knew wasn’t yours to sell. Thanks to the investigation by my deputies, we figured out who you are, and now we have warrants out for your arrest. So, you can do the right thing and turn yourself in.”

If you know where any of these individuals are located, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office asks that you call Crime Stoppers of Marion County at 352-368-STOP (7867). If you use Crime Stoppers and your tip leads to an arrest, you could be eligible for a cash reward.
