PAWS Ice Cream Social returns to Letty Towles Dog Park this month

An ice cream social for Marion County residents and their canine companions is returning to Letty Towles Dog Park this month.

On Saturday, February 25, from 10 a.m. to noon, the Ocala Recreation and Parks Department will host the PAWS Ice Cream Social at Letty Towles Dog Park, which is located at 2299 SE 32nd Avenue in Ocala.

During the event, attendees will get to enjoy an ice cream treat courtesy of the Ocala Police Department’s Polar Patrol. There will also be pet-themed vendors along with several fun activities at the dog park.

The PAWS Ice Cream Social is free to attend and open to the public. No registration is required.

The event will benefit the Humane Society of Marion County, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the care and protection of animals in Marion County.
