David “Silver Fox” Mauck, 85, of Ocklawaha, Florida passed away June 18, 2023, at Ocala Regional Medical Center, Ocala, Florida. He was the husband of Teresa Gail Mauck for 29 years.
David was born in Washington, D.C., son of the late Perrie and Lucille Mauck. Before retiring, he was a respected crane operator for 44 years. David enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, and collecting knives. David’s love for his grandchildren was unparalleled.
David is survived by his wife, Gail Mauck, and children: Linda Johns of Georgia, Gary Presti of Georgia, Tony Mauck of Ocala, FL, Scott Mauck of Ocala, FL, Shawn Rodgers of Ohio, Jimmy Rodgers of Ocklawaha, FL and Tina Sacauskas of Ocklawaha, FL, Sister-in-Law Lynn Rogers of Lake Panasoffkee, FL. David also has numerous nieces, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and daughters Vicky Mauck and Sueanna Rodgers, sister Nancy Perkins and granddaughter Amanda Johns.
The family will receive friends at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 5946 SE Robinson Road, Belleview, FL 34420 on Friday, June 23, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Interment will be at Moss Bluff Cemetery, Moss Bluff, FL. Condolences may be left at Hiers-Baxley.com.
