Flooding closes Letty Towles Dog Park

The Letty Towles Dog Park in Ocala is closed effective immediately due to flood damage and environmental concerns.

The park, which is located at 2299 SE 32nd Avenue, is expected to reopen at 8 a.m. on Friday, June 30 if weather is permitting.

The Letty Towles Dog Park’s weekly hours of operation are from 7 a.m. to sunset on Friday through Tuesday. The park is closed on Wednesday and Thursday.

The 4.5-acre park is fenced and provides plenty of open space for dogs to run, play, and socialize with other dogs. Pet owners can also relax on one of the benches under the pavilion or the canopy of nearby oak trees.
