The Marion County Sheriff’s Office has identified the man who was found deceased on the side of a road in northwest Marion County on Tuesday evening, and his death has been deemed suspicious.
At approximately 6:35 p.m. on Tuesday, MCSO deputies responded to the 7600 block of NW 77th Terrace, near the intersection of W Highway 326, due to reports that a man’s body had been found on the side of the road, according to the sheriff’s office.
Upon arrival, deputies located the male victim, identified as 40-year-old Wayne Barlow. In a social media post, MCSO stated that Barlow’s death appears to be suspicious in nature.
MCSO Major Crimes detectives arrived on scene and launched an investigation to determine Barlow’s cause of death. No further details were provided by the sheriff’s office as the investigation is ongoing.
