The City of Ocala Recreation and Parks Department is seeking vendors and demonstrators for the annual Festival at Fort King, which returns on Saturday, December 2 and Sunday, December 3.
This historic-themed event will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Fort King National Historic Landmark, which is located at 3925 E Fort King Street in Ocala.
During both days of the event, guests will have a chance to step into life at Fort King in the 1800s. Local history will be brought to life with a re-enactment of the events that fueled the start of the Second Seminole War.
The two-day festival is in need of food and craft vendors, historical reenactors, and demonstrators. Applications are currently open and must be submitted by no later than 5 p.m. on Monday, September 25.
Digital and hard copy applications, along with sponsorship opportunities, are available.
