The annual Festival at Fort King returned earlier this month, giving visitors a glimpse into life at the fort during the early 1800s. Ocala-based professional photographer John D. Elliott was in attendance, and his camera captured the pinnacle of the festival: a re-enactment of the event that fueled the start of the Second Seminole War.
