Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter KT Tunstall is bringing her tour to Ocala next month, and tickets are still available.
On Thursday, September 14 at 7:30 p.m., Tunstall will perform at the Reilly Arts Center, which is located at 500 NE 9th Street in Ocala. Her looping skills will be on display as she plays original songs ranging in genre from folk to pop to rock.
The Scottish singer-songwriter states that there are “two immediate, recognizable pillars” of her style. “I have this troubadour, acoustic guitar-driven emotional side. Then there’s definitely a rocker side of me with sharper teeth.”
Nearly 20 years ago, Tunstall burst onto the music scene with her multi-platinum debut album, Eye to the Telescope, which features the hit singles “Black Horse and the Cherry Tree” and “Suddenly I See.”
Over the course of her music career, Tunstall has released a total of seven studio albums, including a trio of records zeroing in on the concepts of soul (2016’s KIN), body (2018’s WAX), and mind (2022’s NUT).
The upcoming concert will showcase Tunstall’s latest album, NUT, along with her past chart-toppers. Tickets are still available in the Reilly Arts Center’s orchestra, mezzanine, and balcony sections, ranging from $35 to $85.
