To the Editor:
I think Ocala needs a petition by the residents to stop all the home building and the tearing down of trees, only to build tiny houses that bring down the property value of the current homes. Animals are running freely in sight because we are taking away their homes every time we cut down necessary trees. The traffic is horrendous in only the past year and a half.
Another reader posted that they have to drive an hour to find a decent paying job. It’s the truth. They don’t want to pay you to work in Ocala, yet they keep building businesses. The Dillard’s shopping center can’t even find enough vendors to fill it.
How do we go about petitioning them to stop overgrowing this city?
