Give4Marion raises over $840,000 in less than 24 hours

The Give4Marion fundraising event, which began at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, has passed $840,000 in donations from over 2,500 individual donors.

As of 8:45 a.m. on Wednesday, the annual event has seen 2,543 individuals donate over $842,000 to more than 100 participating nonprofit organizations.

Give4Marion offers people a convenient way to give to multiple nonprofit organizations and charitable funds through a single platform. In 2022, the third installment of the event raised just over $770,000 for 87 different nonprofit organizations in Ocala/Marion County.

This year’s charitable event will continue through 7 p.m. this evening. With 10 hours remaining, here are the current leaderboards for the participating large and small organizations:

Large Organizations

1. Project Hope of Marion County – $66,239 raised by 77 donors.
2. Transitions Life Center & Community, Inc. – $30,790 raised by 112 donors.
3. Voices of Change Animal League (VOCAL) – $30,340 raised by 152 donors.
4. Grace Christian School – $28,228 raised by 91 donors.
5. Kimberly’s Center for Child Protection – $26,965 raised by 61 donors.
6. Wear Gloves INC – $20,659 raised by 72 donors.
7. Brother’s Keeper – $20,366 raised by 44 donors.
8. Sheltering Hands, Inc  – $19,560 raised by 75 donors.
9. Alachua Conservation Trust – $18,830 raised by 65 donors.
10. Hands of Mercy Everywhere, Inc. – $17,901 raised by 85 donors.
11. Interfaith Emergency Services – $16,915 raised by 44 donors.
12. Ambleside Ocala – $14,755 raised by 81 donors.
13. Crossroads Academy – $14,104 raised by 75 donors.
14. Meadowbrook Academy – $12,580 raised by 48 donors.
15. Marion Senior Services – $12,430 raised by 66 donors.
