CareerSource Citrus Levy Marion will host the Marion County Job Fair this week for those who are seeking new career opportunities.
The hiring event will be held on Wednesday, September 27, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the College of Central Florida’s Klein Conference Center, which is located at 3001 SW College Road in Ocala.
According to CareerSource CLM, the following businesses plan to attend the job fair:
ABCO Transportation, AutoZone (retail), Best Buy (Geek Squad), Chick-fil-A Ocala, Citrus County Board of County Commissioners, Citrus County Sheriff’s Office, Citrus Oral and Facial Surgery, City of Ocala, Dollar Tree Distribution Center, Evergreen Private Care, FedEx Ground, Fidelity Manufacturing, Florida Department of Corrections, InTec (Gibson Electric), Marion County Board of County Commissioners, Marion County Public Schools, McLane, Nash Plumbing and Mechanical, On Top of The World, Owens Corning, RANK Quality Restaurants, Right at Home Nature Coast, Staff America, The Salvation Army, The Villages, Timber Ridge Center for Rehabilitation and Healing, Tri-Eagle Sales, Two Men and a Truck, Viceroy Home Health, Walgreens, and World Equestrian Center.
All of the above businesses have immediate jobs to fill in positions that range from entry-level to experienced.
Those planning to attend the job fair should bring printed copies of their resume and be prepared for on-the-spot job interviews. Appropriate attire is required: no flip-flops or casual sandals, t-shirts, shorts, jeans with rips or holes, or anything too tight, short, revealing, or with profane language.
Candidates interested in updating their resume, preparing a 30-second “elevator speech”’ highlighting their skills and experience, and/or sharpening interview skills are encouraged to visit one of CareerSource CLM’s career centers for fee-free staff assistance.
The career centers, which are located in Ocala (2703 NE 14th Street), Lecanto (683 S Adolph Point), and Chiefland (2175 NW 11th Drive), are open on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
