A local business owner and his family are hosting a Halloween-themed festival for all ages at the Ocala Downtown Market on Friday, October 13.
Matt Gray, owner and operator of The Oddities Shoppe, will help kick off the Halloween season with the first annual Gray Family Halloween Festival at the Ocala Downtown Market (403 SE Osceola Avenue) from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
The family-friendly event will feature a scare zone; classic monster movies playing on a big screen; candy; face painting; costume contests for kids, adults, and pets; over 55 vendors; food trucks; live entertainment; and more.
There is no cost to attend the event, and parking is also free.
