Ocali Country Days returning to Silver River Museum this weekend

A festival that allows visitors to experience the Florida of yesteryear is returning to the Silver River Museum this weekend.

Ocali Country Days will take place on Saturday, November 11 and Sunday, November 12, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Silver River Museum, which is located within the Silver Springs State Park at 1445 NE 58th Avenue in Ocala.

The two-day festival will feature living history exhibits highlighting Florida folk life and the 1800s. Visitors will get to meet crafters demonstrating old time skills, explore pioneer cabins, watch the making of sugar cane syrup, take a tram ride through the state park, tour the museum, and more.
