A car wash company that opened its first location in Ocala in 2021 will open its second location in the coming weeks.
Tidal Wave Auto Spa is nearing completion of its new location at 7510 SW 95th Street.
Ocala-News.com first reported the second location back in June 2021.
The new Tidal Wave location plans to open on December 20, according to the company’s Google business listing.
The car wash company opened its first location in Ocala at 3209 SW College Road, across from the Paddock Mall.
Tidal Wave will join about two dozen other “self service” car washes in Ocala. In 2019, there were about half that number.
Among the companies opening new locations in Ocala is ModWash, which is working on its new site at 1544 E Silver Springs Boulevard.
A sixth RaceWash location is planned near the Highway 484 and Interstate 75 interchange. Owned by Merritt Fore III and Mac Fore, that local franchise opened its first location along Maricamp Road and added three more locations on SW College Road, as well as a fifth location on W Silver Springs Boulevard.
Over the past two years, Caliber Car Wash has opened three locations in Ocala, including its first location at 4956 Silver Springs Boulevard.
Mr. Clean Car Wash opened its sole location in Ocala last year at 3020 S Pine Avenue.
