In an effort to fill numerous vacant positions, Marion County Public Schools (MCPS) will host its Winter Career Fair in Ocala on Friday, December 1.
The event will be held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Howard Academy Community Center, which is located at 306 NW 7th Avenue in Ocala.
According to MCPS, the event is ideal for college students graduating in December and families who are wanting to relocate to Marion County in the new year.
MCPS states that it offers a “small-town feel in a community known as the Horse Capital of the World” while providing “variety and flexibility to fit the needs of new employees and their families.”
The available positions include teachers, support staff, Marion Afterschool Program team members, transportation team members, and food service team members.
During the career fair, interviews will take place on-site with school principals and district administrators. Applicants are encouraged to bring a current resume and dress for success.
This Winter Career Fair is a joint partnership between MCPS, CareerSource Citrus Levy Marion, and the Marion County Hospital District.
