The City of Ocala Recreation and Parks Department will wrap up its 2023 “After Dark in the Park” movie series this week with a free screening of the classic Christmas comedy Home Alone.
The event will begin at 7 p.m. on Friday, December 15 at Tuscawilla Park located at 800 NE Sanchez Avenue.
Home Alone is about an eight-year-old troublemaker named Kevin, played by Macaulay Culkin, who is forced to defend his suburban home from a pair of burglars after his family accidentally goes on a Christmas trip without him.
Released in 1990, the PG-rated film also stars Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern.
During the screening on Friday, popcorn, drinks, and other refreshments will be available for purchase.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets.
