Ocala police are asking for help from the community to identify an individual who allegedly stole thousands of dollars’ worth of merchandise from a local tobacco shop.
According to the Ocala Police Department, the suspect (pictured below) entered the Sweet Leaf Tobacco Shop located at 1220 E Silver Springs Boulevard in Ocala. He then began throwing items at an employee before taking merchandise valued at approximately $10,000.
OPD stated that the suspect then left the area in a two-door silver Chevrolet Camaro with a Georgia license plate.
