A new event combining pickleball and a popular kids’ game is set to kick off next week in Ocala.
On Thursdays, beginning on January 11, the Marion County Parks and Recreation Department will host “King of the Court” from 9 a.m. to noon at the Brick City Adventure Park located at 1211 SE 22nd Road.
In a social media post, the parks and recreation department described the weekly games as “four-square meets pickleball.”
The games are open to adults only (ages 18 and up), and no registration is required.
