Lawrence James Quigley
July 2, 1949 – January 3, 2024
Lawrence James Quigley (Larry), of Belleview, was born July 2, 1949 in Salamanca, NY, passed peacefully with his family by his side on January 3, 2024, after a hard fought battle with cancer for 15 years.
Larry was a resident of Salamanca until relocating to Florida in 2012. He was a loyal employee of Allegany State Park for 35 years retiring in 2004. Larry was a volunteer fireman for Salamanca for several years. He served as a local union president for a few years.
Larry leaves behind his loving wife of 53 years, Margaret (Ahrens) Quigley. He was an amazing father to Amanda (Wiley) Denney of Belleview FL, Collin (Julie Smithers) Quigley of Mexico, NY, Grant (Lori) Quigley of Salamanca, NY, and Matthew (Samantha) Quigley of Salamanca, NY. Also, surviving are 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, his sister Sharon (Thomas) Tomsick, his sister-in-law Pamela (Edward) Hill, brother-in-law Michael Ahrens and several nieces and nephews.
Larry was predeceased by his parents Max and Norma Quigley and his son Aaron Quigley.
