A new coffee shop under construction in southwest Ocala says it will announce its grand opening date soon.
Biggby Coffee is nearly completed with construction of its new location at 9750 SW 62nd Avenue Road, Suite 600, within the Market at Cherrywood.
“Our construction journey is almost complete, and very soon, we’ll be unveiling the official opening dates that you’ve all been waiting for,” reads a statement from the company issued through social media.
The new business is owned by Xavier Marquez and Elijah Schoonard, who both moved from different states to bring “a new experience to Ocala,” according to the company.
Founded in East Lansing, Michigan in 1995, each of Biggby Coffee’s over 350 locations are all locally owned and operated.
When it opens, Biggby Coffee will offer brewed coffee (hot or iced), cold brews, cappuccinos, Americanos, iced tea, hot chocolate, and lemonade.
The business also features a large variety of custom lattes, including the Avalanche (chocolate, white chocolate, and mint), Buttercup (caramel, hazelnut, and butterscotch), Firefly (cinnamon, vanilla, and white chocolate), Mellow Mochanut (marshmallow, chocolate, and coconut), and Neapolitan (chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry), to list a few.
In addition to drinks, the café will also feature grab-and-go food items including bagels, muffins, sandwiches, donut holes, and cookies.
