Raymond Heinzen
April 24, 1941 – January 25, 2004
Raymond Heinzen, age 82, of Ocala, FL, passed away on January 25, 2024. He was born on April 24, 1941, in Milwaukee, WI. Raymond proudly served in the Army for 4 years. After his military service, he embarked on a successful career as a Business Manager in Data Processing with Yahr Lange before starting his own business, Response Systems. Raymond was a dedicated and hardworking individual who built a thriving company with a team he considered family.
Beyond his professional life, Raymond had a zest for life and a passion for his hobbies. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, golfing, and traveling. Raymond HeinzenRaymond’s love for these activities was only surpassed by his love for his family and friends. He was a loving husband, a wonderful father, and an adoring grandfather. Raymond’s charm and wit brought smiles and laughter to anyone he met.
Raymond is survived by his beloved wife, Edith Heinzen, and his children, Stephanie Grieme (Harry), Michelle Heinzen (Mike McGivern), and Missy DeBord (Greg). He will also always be remembered by his grandchildren, Ali Adams (Josh), Ernie Grieme, Gabbi McGivern (Zach), Elaina DeBord and Tysen DeBord. Raymond is also survived by his brother-in-law, Jim Friedrich, nieces, Laurie Poellinger and Kris Winzenreid, and other extended family.
Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Mary Heinzen, his sister-in-law, Karen Friedrich, and his cousins, Bobby Franz (Faye) and Shelly Zylka.
A celebration of life service will be held on February 23, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Joy Lutheran Church, located at 7045 SW 83rd Pl, Ocala, FL 34476.
Raymond will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His legacy of love, dedication, and laughter will forever be cherished by his family and friends.
