The City of Ocala Recreation and Parks Department will host its annual Parade of Senior Services Information Fair on Friday, March 15, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the College of Central Florida’s Klein Conference Center.

The 41st annual installment of the event will bring together over 30 agencies to provide information on a wide range of services for senior citizens in Ocala/Marion County and the surrounding areas.

Many individuals attend this yearly event to obtain information on services they are seeking or may need in the future.

During the four-hour event, attendees will obtain information on various health insurance companies, long-term care facilities, services for the blind, and social services offered by Marion County such as the board of elections, electric, and veteran services.

“It’s a great opportunity for seniors to gather valuable information and connect with the agencies that can assist them,” stated the recreation and parks department in a media release.

The Parade of Senior Services Information Fair will be held at the College of Central Florida’s Ocala campus (3001 SW College Road), and it is free to attend for adults who are 50 years of age or older.
