A new car wash has taken over a spot that had been operating in east Ocala for several years prior.
Bay Blast Car Wash is now open for business at 1326 E Silver Springs Boulevard. The car wash replaces the former Rivals Car Wash that previously occupied the space.
Located near Sweet and Savory Eats, which opened its doors last August, the new car wash was repainted and the facilities were revamped. New signage has also been installed at the property.
Just a couple blocks east on Silver Springs Boulevard, a new Mod Wash is planning to build its first car wash location in Ocala.
Bay Blast Car Wash is one of at least two dozen self-serve car washes in Ocala.
Last month, Tidal Wave Auto Spa opened its second location in Ocala along State Road 200.
RaceWash is currently building another location in Ocala along County Road 484.
