Restrooms at three Ocala parks closing for repairs

The restrooms at three Ocala parks will be closed beginning next week as crews work to repair and replace flooring in the facilities.

According to a statement issued by the city of Ocala, beginning Monday, April 22, restrooms will close at Jervey Gantt Park, Clyatt Park, and S. Stanley Malever Nature Park.

The closures will remain in effect through Tuesday, April 30, with the restrooms scheduled to reopen on Wednesday, May 1 at 8 a.m.

While the restrooms are closed, additional portalets will be available for public use nearby, according to city officials. 

The following restrooms will be impacted:

  • Jervey Gantt Park, 2200 SE 36th Ave. – All restrooms closed
  • Clyatt Park, 1501 SE 17th St. – All restrooms closed
  • S. Stanley Malever Nature Park, 1600 SE 30th Ave. – Family restroom closed
