A shop in downtown Ocala is closing its doors after over three decades in business as the owner moves on to other creative endeavors.

Shannon Roth Collection will close its location at 22 S Magnolia Avenue on Sunday, July 14. The business announced the closure last month in a social media post.

“After over three decades as a fixture in downtown Ocala, Shannon Roth Collection is closing its iconic blue doors,” reads the post. “As she begins her next chapter, Shannon plans to focus on design projects and styling, embracing new creative endeavors beyond the confines of a physical store.”

To celebrate its closing, the store has ben offering between 40% and 60% off most items over its last few days.

“Stop by and say goodbye,” reads the post. The store is open through Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Roth founded her original store over thirty years ago before renovating the historic Dixie Theater at 22 South Magnolia in 2006.

Billed as Ocala’s “original lifestyle store,” the shop was known for its iconic blue doors. It shared its space with Olivia & Co, a premier baby boutique.

Shannon Roth Collection joins several other businesses that have closed their locations in downtown Ocala over the past year, including Molly Maguire’s, The Corkscrew, The Keep Downtown, and Havana Cuban Cuisine 352.
