Marion County Public Schools and the College of Central Florida are teaming up to host the Careers and Colleges Expo this week.
The event will be held on Wednesday, August 21, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the college’s Ewers Century Center, which is located at 3001 SW College Road in Ocala.
The two-hour event, which is sponsored by counselors at all Marion County public high schools and CF, will feature representatives from dozens of public and private colleges, universities, technical institutes, trade schools, and military branches.
Those representatives will provide more details and information about different experiences to college-bound students, transfer students, and those interested in career exploration and military enlistment, according to MCPS.
The event is free to attend and open to the public.
