A man from Gainesville was arrested in Ocala last week after he allegedly traveled to a local motel to meet a 13-year-old girl for sex and was instead met by local law enforcement agents.
On Monday, July 22, an undercover agent with Homeland Security Investigations began communicating with a man, later identified as 37-year-old Reagan Morales Roblero, on the online social media application Telegram. The arrest report stated that the agent was posing as a 13-year-old girl.
According to the report, the decoy clearly stated that her age was 13, and Morales Roblero claimed that he was 23 years old. During the initial conversations, Morales Roblero allegedly asked the decoy if he could “be her boyfriend,” and he mentioned that he “loves to give hugs and kisses.”
The conversation then “escalated” when Morales Roblero allegedly asked the decoy if she had a “fantasy about a boy sleeping in bed with her with no clothes.” The report stated that he then told the decoy that he wanted to “lick her p****, hug her, and caress her butt.”
Morales Roblero allegedly proceeded to tell the decoy that he “wants to get a hotel room” in Ocala and “make love to her there.” After several more days of communicating via Telegram, Morales Roblero sent the decoy a photo showing an individual “putting a condom on a banana,” along with a photo of an “adult male’s erect penis,” according to the report.
Morales Roblero and the undercover agent posing as the decoy agreed to meet at a motel on W Silver Springs Boulevard in Ocala.
On Thursday, September 5, Morales Roblero allegedly messaged the decoy that he “wants to f*** her with passion.” The report stated that he then sent another explicit photo to the decoy, which showed a man and woman having sex.
That same day, Morales Roblero provided updates to the decoy as he drove to the motel. When he arrived at the motel and stepped into the lobby, he was met by Marion County Sheriff’s Office detectives and placed under arrest.
Morales Roblero refused to speak with detectives and requested an attorney.
According to the report, Morales Roblero allegedly sent a total of 10 multimedia messages to the undercover agent posing as a 13-year-old girl. Those messages depicted adults performing sexual acts.
Morales Roblero was transported to Marion County Jail, where he is currently being held without bond. He is being charged with traveling to meet a minor for illegal sexual contact, use of a computer to solicit a child, use of a two-way communication device to facilitate a felony, and cruelty toward a child – transmitting information harmful to minors (10 counts).
A court date has not been scheduled yet, according to jail records.
