Ocala-News.com first reported the new Jersey Mike’s location in Ocala in July.

According to state records, the new franchise is registered to Munchies on 34th, LLC, a company that is owned by Jerry Lewicki and Bryce A. Ramirez-Lewicki. Lewicki is the Chief Financial Officer of CordaRoy’s, a furniture store based in Gainesville, and Ramirez-Lewicki is a recent graduate of Florida International University.

Together, the owners have been transforming the vacant space at the Pearl Britain Plaza for several months.

They will hold a soft opening “VIP Night” for invited guests a couple of days before the grand opening.

Earlier this year, the third Jersey Mike’s opened in Ocala at 2785 NW 49th Avenue. That store is located within the Shops at Foxwood.

The two Jersey Mike’s restaurants in the city’s northern half join two others in southwest Ocala located at 2602 SW 19th Avenue Road and 8075 SW State Road 200.

There are currently 2,828 Jersey Mike’s locations in operation across the United States and another 297 locations in various stages of development. In Florida, the company has at least 16 locations that are currently under development.

Since the third Ocala store opened in late March, an additional 67 Jersey Mike’s locations have opened across the country.
