To the Editor:
My husband and I moved from Leesburg to Ocala in 2020 due to the growth in Leesburg.
We purchased our home and thought Ocala was where we wanted to be; no traffic concerns.
But now, we regret the move. The building/construction is overwhelming. Now, we are considering putting our beautiful pool home on 1.2 acres up for sale and will do so once moving plans are made.
It’s shameful how city officials have allowed the overgrowth and the demise of what was once so beautiful to become distasteful to so many of its residents.
