To the Editor:
I read the letter from someone running down the way money has been spent in Ocala and they had a lot of complaints. Like a bunch of bad roads and ugly buildings and things.
It’s funny, when I drive through there, and I’m from Fort Wayne, Indiana, the place looks really good to me.
I do own property out west of Ocala on State Road 200 and I like the location of it. Also, I like the city of Ocala. I think it is a very well kept city. I feel safe here.
We have a good sheriff and the city is really up to snuff; it looks really good and I am very impressed with it.
Granted I don’t live here year-round, but just visiting here in the winters and residing at my property, I really enjoy it here and may move down here permanently, just because it is such a nice place to live here in Marion County, and Ocala in particular.
I don’t know what all the griping is about. It sure looks good to me.
