A 68-year-old intoxicated Ocala woman accused of slapping a customer and threatening employees at a local Mexican restaurant allegedly offered sexual favors to the law enforcement officer who placed her under arrest.
On Thursday, February 27, a Marion County Sheriff’s Office deputy responded to La Fiesta Mexican Cocina Ocala (4937 NW Blitchton Road) in reference to a drunk woman, identified as Betty Sue Anderson, according to the arrest report.
Upon arrival at the restaurant, a manager advised that Anderson had attempted to stab staff members with a pencil. In addition, Anderson allegedly slapped a customer, and the restaurant wanted to trespass her from the premises.
The deputy made contact with Anderson and observed that her eyes were “bloodshot [and] watery.” She also had “slurred speech” and “smell(ed) of metabolized alcohol,” according to the report.
After the deputy informed Anderson that she was being trespassed from the restaurant, a friend of hers arrived on scene to take her home. However, the report stated that Anderson “continued to loiter on the property” without making any attempt to leave.
The deputy informed Anderson that she would be arrested if she failed to leave the restaurant. She allegedly raised her right arm, “extended her middle finger” at the deputy, and said “(expletive) you.”

Moments later, the deputy and another law enforcement officer attempted to detain Anderson. She allegedly tensed and resisted their efforts to place her arms behind her back. Eventually, Anderson was secured in handcuffs and escorted to an MCSO patrol vehicle.
The report stated that the restaurant’s employees and the customer who was allegedly slapped by Anderson did not wish to pursue battery charges against her. However, the customer agreed to provide a statement regarding Anderson’s alleged disorderly conduct.
The deputy transported Anderson to Marion County Jail. While heading to the facility, Anderson allegedly made repeated offers to perform oral sex on the deputy. She allegedly told the deputy, “I give real good (oral sex). You want to pull over and let me show you,” according to the report.
In the report, the deputy further noted that Anderson offered to take the deputy to her home where “they could have a good night of shower sex.” She then attempted to convince the deputy to “turn around.”
Anderson was booked into Marion County Jail at around 9:10 p.m. on Thursday, where she remains in custody. She is being held without bond, and she is facing the following charges: resisting an officer without violence, assault on a law enforcement officer, trespassing, and disorderly conduct.
A court date has not been scheduled yet, according to jail records.
