Marion County will celebrate its 181st birthday this weekend with a free festival that will feature games, live entertainment, and family-friendly activities.
Marion County Day will take place on Saturday, March 29, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the McPherson Governmental Campus at 601 SE 25th Avenue in Ocala.
During the festival, attendees will take a trip down memory lane as local organizations participate in telling Marion County’s story in a fun, informative, and interactive way.
The event will also feature games, live entertainment, local vendors, a kids’ zone featuring bounce houses, archery, and other fun activities, and multiple food trucks.
The community festival is free to attend and open to the public.
