A Belleview woman won more than $29,000 from a lottery ticket she purchased from a local gas station.
Bonnie K. Newby claimed $29,519.28 from a winning Fantasy 5 ticket she purchased for the midday drawing held on April 26. Newby’s winning numbers were 2, 7, 23, 18, and 33.
According to the Florida Lottery, Newby purchased the ticket from the Circle K located at 5198 SE Abshier Boulevard in Belleview.
Newby split the top prize, with two tickets each earning $29,519.28. The other ticket was sold at a Publix in Sarasota, according to records maintained by the Florida Lottery.
Around 102 other tickets earned prizes of $93 for getting four of the five numbers right, and 2,896 tickets earned prizes of $9, according to the Florida Lottery.
