A local recreation center will host a free youth and teen calligraphy class this week.
A free creative lettering and calligraphy class will be held at the Mary Sue Rich Community Center (1821 NW 21st Avenue, Ocala) on Wednesday, May 14, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The youth classes are geared towards children and will focus on creative lettering, hand lettering, and the basics of calligraphy.
No prior experience is necessary and all levels of experience are welcome.
For those who are unable to attend this week’s class, the free series is offered on the second Wednesday every month through August.
