A Chinese restaurant has closed its popular location along State Road 200 in Ocala and is moving to a new establishment less than two miles away.
Yummy House closed its location at 3500 SW College Road/SR 200 on Monday, June 16. The restaurant was situated next to the former location of A Simply Unforgettable Party Shop, which closed its doors last fall.
The business will open in a new location at 2510 SW 27th Avenue, Suite 102 and 103, at the end of November, according to a statement posted in the restaurant.
“We will be be contacting our customers who have signed up for our re-opening message/call with our confirmed date,” reads the statement from the business.
Outside of its location in Ocala, Yummy House operates restaurants in Gainesville, Sarasota, and Tampa.
The menu at Yummy House features a bevy of traditional Chinese dishes. The restaurant also offers dim sum, which is a style of cuisine that features bite-sized dishes.
